Because PocketLog is an offline-only environment, the application itself does not drop, store, or monitor tracking cookies on our users to construct private profiles or upload database files to cloud hosts.

• No User Session Cookies: We do not track your user sessions or financial entries using tracking scripts inside the core system.
• No Cloud Databases: Since we do not employ centralized cloud storage to back up your budget files, we have no mechanism to parse tracking metadata.

3. THIRD-PARTY IDENTIFIERS (GOOGLE ADMOB)

To keep the PocketLog application free, we integrate with Google AdMob to deliver standard, non-disruptive advertisements. AdMob uses device-level advertising IDs (such as Google’s AAID and Apple’s IDFA) and cookies to coordinate and tailor ad requests.

• Frequency Capping: Cookies and identifiers ensure you aren't shown the exact same advertisement over and over again.
• Combat Fraud: Tracking scripts assist Google in detecting invalid clicks or bot traffic to safeguard publishers.
• Targeting Preferences: These trackers help build anonymous demographic markers so ads remain relevant to your regional location or interests.

4. HOW WE EXERCISE CONTROL

You maintain ultimate authority over how these third-party trackers behave on your devices:

• Android System Settings: You can clear or reset your Device Advertising ID at any time via Settings > Privacy > Ads.
• iOS System Settings: You can explicitly limit ad-tracking by disabling "Allow Apps to Request to Track" via Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
• Web Browser Control: If accessing our promotional blog or external document links, you can block cookie execution directly within your browser settings.

5. REVISION HISTORIES

We may modify or update this Cookie Policy as advertising guidelines, legal requirements, or framework revisions shift. However, keeping your sensitive financial data isolated locally remains our unalterable development standard.
